Evergreen Afghanistan Relief Flight
An Evergreen International Airlines Boeing 747 cargo plane carrying relief supplies prepares to land at the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002. It was the first time since 1974 that a 747 landed in Kabul. Evergreen Humanitarian Services, Inc. and the Afghanistan Relief Organization teamed up to deliver and distribute the $2 million worth of aid supplies aboard the plane.
