Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is outsourced HR?
-
It means that we can handle all your HR needs without you having to hire a full-time manager. Your team can get expert support any time they need it. If you have a project they haven't been able to put together due to lack of time or knowledge- that is something that we can take care of for you.
-
-
How does your service work?
-
We charge a flat monthly fee based on your employee count. For smaller projects that don't require ongoing support we can quote at an hourly rate.
-
-
What kind of commitment do I need to make?
-
Monthly clients commit to a three (3) month term and can cancel with a 30-day notice after the initial term is over.
-
-
If I sign up for monthly services what do you expect from me?
-
We start with a discussion about the priorities that you have for your company while completing an intake and audit form. The audit form allows us to look at the company as a whole to review any potential regulatory issues that may need to be addressed immediately. After that is completed we come up with a list of HR priorities for your company and get to work.

Do you work with aviation and helicopter companies?
-
Yes, we specialize in supporting the Alaskan aviation industry but we work with companies in all industries and all states.
-
-
What HR services do you offer?
-
We start by auditing your entire HR system for compliance, once that is in alignment we can assist in recruitment and hiring, policy and handbook creation, compliance and employee issues and much more; we cover all the essential HR tasks for growing companies.

-
Are you familiar with California labor laws?
-
Yes, California has much more strict labor laws than the rest of the United States. Our team is certified for HR Law in California from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Our clients range from businesses based in California to employers of remote employees in California to which these labor laws apply.
-
-
Can you help us stay compliant with labor laws?
-
Absolutely. Our monthly clients receive annual labor law posters and additional information as it comes up to keep them aligned with both federal and state-specific employment laws.
-
-
What if we already have someone doing HR part-time?
-
Our preference is to support your employee by filling in gaps and taking over projects when needed. Most employees who are doing HR tasks part-time are doing something else full-time. We are here to remove as much burden in the HR tasks so that your employees have more time for other things.

Is Evergreen Solutions based in Alaska?
-
Yes, we’re proudly Alaska-based and understand the local workforce landscape however we can work with companies in any location in the United States.
-
-
Can you help with conflict resolution or workplace investigations?
-
Yes, many times this is why clients initially get a hold of us- we’re experienced in helping employers navigate sensitive workplace issues. In addition, some states (California) require specific language or policies to be followed with conflict resolution, harassment or corrective action plans and having a third-party is instrumental in shifting through those regulations.
-

-
Yes! We create customized employee handbooks that reflect your values, stay compliant with state and federal laws, and are easy for your team to understand.
-
-
Do you help with job postings and hiring?
-
Yes! We can help with job descriptions, screening support, and onboarding so you can hire the right people faster. In addition, we can make sure that you are hiring positions legally before you post- making sure that job descriptions meet the qualifications of exempt (salaried) and non-exempt (hourly rate).
